Brave Community Theatre of Spring Valley is pleased to announce its AG DAYS production, “You Can’t Take it With You." The Pulitzer Prize winning comedy is a favorite on stage and a classic movie starring Jimmy Stewart and Jean Arthur. The play is directed by theatre intern Jordan Pokorney.
The comedy revolves around the eccentric Sycamore family whose granddaughter, Alice, has fallen in love with her boss, Tony Kirby. The wealthy and snobbish Kirby family is not too pleased with their plans to be married. When the two families meet for the first time, it is revealed that the Kirby’s are behind an offer to buy the Sycamore house necessary to move ahead with a major building project but has been turned down. Disaster ensues. The police arrest everyone in the house for making unlicensed fireworks and disturbing the peace. Laughter abounds as the play moves to a surprising and unpredictable conclusion...JOIN US FOR THE FUN!
